I think my friend is out to get me?

This girl who I've been friends with since sophomore year has been trying to compare herself to me, always tell me how I'm prettier than her, and then tries to copy off of me. I think she's jealous, which is annoying because I have a feeling one day she'll try to sabotage me. Whenever someone makes fun of her, she'll try to say that they're doing the same to me and that they called me ugly to make herself feel better. One day, I wore these country-styled boots I got from a teacher's closet because the teacher gave it to me since they didn't fit. Well, when I wore them to school this girl who wanted the shoes, but didn't fit her said she was glad she didn't get those because they didn't match. Then my friend said the same thing in a passive aggressive way. She's like, "They don't match. I'm sorry, but they don't." Then if I get a hat or something, she'll go out and buy something similar. She's like that Rachel ***** from that Something Borrowed movie. People make fun of her because she's inconsiderate and a little weird, but when I tried to tell her, she said she had more friends than me, which is so not true. She knows I am trying to change my social ways and how to interact with people, but she tries to set me back by trying to make me look like the "weird" shy one just because I don't like to go up to strangers in public and annoy the hell out of them like she does. She'll make it seem like I have social problems, when she does. She's also narcissistic. She cares way too much about makeup to the point where she thinks it's important to wear it at a drive-in. It's annoying, and she's trying to get me to wear it when I'm not into make up. She likes to distract the class by talking about dumb stuff because she "hates" school, so she's trying to distract learning from everyone else. I'm thinking about getting rid of her, because she seems like a bad friend and a cling-on.
